Welcome MIT graduate students to your Care.com benefit.
Family life is unpredictable. As an MIT graduate student, you can use short-term backup child care when regular child care or school arrangements are disrupted by school closings, vacations, spousal travel, provider illness, or when a child is mildly ill. You can also use backup child care when care is not normally available—to allow you to study for exams, attend MIT events, and participate in other school-related activities.
Please note that MIT would like to remind you of the following:
- You may not place a backup care request until an authorized credit card is listed on file. To avoid impeding future care requests, enter your credit card information during enrollment by clicking on Settings and selecting Credit Card Information.
- You may access your Care@Work benefits through a U.S. IP address only. If you wish to request U.S. care from outside of the U.S., you must connect through your VPN before signing into your mit.care.com account.
